After her trip to the solar array and seeing the scoreboard at the ball field Amanda was excited.  When she told her friends Ben and Gerry about the experience the boys thought she was joking.  After all what was the electric world and how come no one had heard of it before?
Then Amanda told the boys that the Sun Rays had told her that humans are not using the sun’s energy as much as they can.  The boys still thought having sun rays talk to you was silly but since they had research to do for their own solar panels projects( see the following past posts http://solarproducts.me/title-solar-energy-science-experiment-part-one/ ,  http://solarproducts.me/?p=1433, http://solarproducts.me/?p=1638, http://solarproducts.me/?p=1783 ) they decided to do some checking.
They looked on the websites and they found that solar energy has come a long way since the 1970’s when it became popular and was only 7% efficient and only used one color of the sun, red, to produce energy.  We still have a long way to go.
They were going to need all the help they could get to get their friends, families and community moving and thinking about ways to capture the energy that Sunny and Ray could provide.
