St. Patrick’s Day makes us think of Leprechauns, rainbows and pots of gold.  So I thought you would all like to see how sunlight or solar energy makes those rainbows.

The first two are about rainbows. You will see that a raindrop refracts the colors of the rainbow putting the colors in the rainbow in their place.  The last video shows a solar power plant that uses refracted light to create power without using solar panels.
